The Corporate Reality

Most junior finance professionals arrive with qualifications.
Very few arrive ready to contribute.

The first two years in a finance role are typically spent figuring out what should have been known before starting. Managers end up explaining more than delegating. Deadlines slip. Output is slow, manual, and error-prone. This programme compresses the ramp-up curve — delivering the technical fluency, analytical instinct, and professional confidence that typically takes years to develop organically.

Who This Is For

Three profiles. One programme.

This is not a beginner IT course. It is a professional transformation programme designed for people who are already in or entering finance — and are ready to stop being the bottleneck.

Profile 01
The Fresh Graduate

You have the degree. You understand the theory. But the gap between what you learned and what corporate finance actually expects is larger than anyone told you.

The corporate reality you'll face
Asked to build models from scratch with no template or mentor available
Expected to present data to managers who have no patience for unformatted outputs
Spending hours on tasks that experienced colleagues complete in 20 minutes
Unsure how to communicate uncertainty or delays professionally
After certification: You deliver clean, auditable work independently from month one.
Profile 02
The Early Analyst

You have 2–5 years of experience. You get things done — but you are doing them slowly, manually, and in ways that do not scale. You are not yet seen as a strategic contributor.

The patterns holding you back
Still using VLOOKUP when XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, or a data model would be faster
Monthly reports rebuilt from scratch instead of automated
Data visualisations that managers quietly clean up before sending to leadership
No structured approach to problem-framing or financial communication
After certification: You build infrastructure, not just outputs — and are recognised for it.
Profile 03
The Career Changer

You are moving into finance from another field. You have transferable skills, commercial awareness, and strong potential — but the finance-specific toolset and corporate norms are unfamiliar.

What makes the transition hard
Excel skills that work for personal use but fall apart under finance workload
No experience with financial modelling conventions or FP&A deliverables
Uncertain how to communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders
Missing the contextual knowledge of how enterprise finance actually operates
After certification: You enter the role with a toolkit that most 3-year analysts still lack.
What You Graduate With

Seven capabilities. Independently applied.

Every capability is assessed through a real deliverable — not a multiple choice test.

Excel & Automation

LAMBDA, Power Query, dynamic arrays, VBA, and data model architecture — applied to real finance workflows.

Financial Modelling

3-statement models, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and variance reporting built to professional standards.

Data Storytelling

Insight-led communication — choosing the right chart, eliminating clutter, and building slides that drive decisions.

Business Intelligence

Power BI fundamentals, DAX logic, and dashboard design — producing reports that answer real business questions.

AI Tools for Finance

Practical AI awareness — where it helps, where it fails, and how to use it responsibly in an analytical finance role.

Problem Solving

A structured approach to identifying, framing, and solving financial problems — before being asked to.

Corporate Readiness

Professional communication, stakeholder management, meeting conduct, and the unspoken norms that determine career trajectory.

Programme Curriculum

12 weeks. 7 modules. One standard.

Modules are sequenced deliberately — each one builds on the last. Every module closes with a real deliverable, not a quiz.

Weeks 1–2
Module 01
Excel & Automation Mastery

From formula foundations through to data model architecture and automation thinking. You will leave with a rebuilt workbook from your own professional context — not a textbook exercise.

Module 02
Financial Modelling

Professional model architecture, 3-statement logic, rolling forecast construction, scenario design, and error-proofing. Deliverable: a fully auditable 3-statement model built from scratch.

Week 5
Module 03
Data Storytelling & Communication

The insight-first communication framework in practice. You will take an existing report you have produced and transform it into a board-ready deck using the six principles — applied to your real data.

Weeks 6–7
Module 04
Business Intelligence & Reporting

Power BI fundamentals, DAX measure construction, and dashboard design logic. Focus is on outputs that answer real business questions — not dashboards that impress designers.

Week 8
Module 05
AI Awareness & Tools for Finance

A practical, grounded session on where AI adds genuine value in finance roles, where it introduces risk, and how to use it responsibly as an analyst. Not hype — applied judgment.

Weeks 9–10
Module 06
Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking

Structured problem framing, hypothesis-led analysis, and root cause identification — applied to real finance scenarios. The goal: you identify the problem before being asked to.

Module 07
Corporate Readiness & Capstone Project

The Certification

What Fintelli.Pro Certified means to an employer.

The badge is not awarded for attendance or module completion alone. It is awarded when a candidate demonstrates the full seven-capability standard through the capstone project — reviewed and signed off personally by the programme coach.

Assessed, not just attended

The capstone project is a real financial deliverable reviewed against professional standards — not a completion certificate

Relevant to the new era of finance

Covers AI awareness alongside technical finance skills — the combination employers now expect from early-career hires

Grounded in real enterprise practice

Curriculum built by a practitioner with 10+ years in FP&A, SAP environments, and executive reporting — not an academic framework

Common Questions

Before you apply.

If your question is not here, email academy@fintelli.pro.

Do I need prior finance experience to enrol?
The programme is designed for people at three entry points: fresh graduates with no corporate experience, analysts with 2–5 years who want to accelerate, and career changers entering finance. A skills assessment during the discovery call determines which track is right for you.
What time commitment is required per week?
The Fully Coached track requires approximately 6–8 hours per week: one 60-minute coaching session plus independent work on exercises and deliverables. The Async track is self-paced but the same volume applies. The Accelerated track requires 10–12 hours per week.
What software do I need access to?
Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 subscription recommended for LAMBDA and dynamic arrays), Power BI Desktop (free download), and a standard internet connection for sessions. All other tools used are either free or covered in the programme materials.
Can my employer fund this programme?
Yes — and many do. The programme qualifies as professional development training. An invoice and programme specification document can be provided for employer approval. Many finance teams fund this for analysts they want to develop. Contact academy@fintelli.pro for a corporate quote.
What happens after certification?
You receive the Fintelli.Pro Certified badge, a programme completion reference, and are added to the Fintelli Academy alumni network. Certified alumni are automatically considered for placement through the Fintelli Academy Finance Talent arm when matching roles arise — no separate application needed.
Is there a cohort start date or can I begin anytime?
The Fully Coached and Accelerated tracks begin with a discovery call and can start within 2–4 weeks of confirmation. The Async track can begin immediately upon enrolment. There are no cohort batches — you work on a schedule that fits your commitments.

Stop being the person who needs to be told. Start being the one who figures it out.
